On October 16, the FBI finally admitted that former and disgraced Director James Comey had penned documents that pre-concluded how the Bureau would rule on Hillary Clinton’s criminal misuse of a private email server.
Fox News reports that the FBI has made public, though heavily redacted, a document entitled “Drafts of Director Comeys July 5, 2016 Statement Regarding Email Server Investigation Part 01 of 01.”
What little could be garnered from the document, it becomes clear that Comey was set to exonerate Hillary as early as May 2016. Rumors of this have circulated for months and after the Senate Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Trump’s FBI Director Christopher Wray asking for a look into the matter, the aforementioned document was released.
In the letter, the Committee said that “it appears that in April or early May of 2016, Mr. Comey had already decided he would issue a statement exonerating Secretary Clinton. That was long before FBI agents finished their work. The outcome of an investigation should not be prejudged while FBI agents are still hard at work trying to gather the facts.”
Comey has said that he went public with his infamous exoneration of Clinton in July of 2017 because of the sketchy tarmac meeting between former President Bill Clinton and Obama U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch followed by Lynch’s pressuring Comey to refer to the Hillary investigation as a “matter”.
Once again, President Trump has been vindicated when he asserted the FBI was letting Hillary off the hook. Comey should be in jail!
